Why is AHIMA on Facebook? The AHIMA Facebook page lets us share some of the AHIMA experience and provides another forum for HIM professionals to network with and learn from one another. Here, you can share questions, experiences, and comments about HIM, and we can let you know about events and resources that you may find useful in your career and educational pursuits. What is not allowed on the Facebook page? AHIMA welcomes all view points and encourages discussions. Please use your discretion when posting comments, photos, etc. to the AHIMA Facebook page. This is a professional page created to help you learn and network with your peers. Comments and photos that are deemed inappropriate for professional networking will be removed. We ask that you keep the conversation civil and abide by the following guidelines: • Posts should be on topic and conversational. No trolling please. • Job posting should not be posted in the AHIMA Facebook Page. If you are looking for a job or would like to post a job please utilize our Career Assist: Job Bank. Job postings will be deleted from the discussion board • AHIMA will delete post that contain, personal attacks of any kind, unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, libelous, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene or otherwise rude content that we deem to be in poor taste. • Please do not post comments that contain personal information about others such as home addresses and personal phone numbers. Joining the AHIMA Facebook page does not allow anyone to see your profile who didn't already have access to it.
