Reopening late April/early May In 2002 my mom, Peggy Kilbane, trademarked the name lakegirl. She had started by selling some sweatshirts and t-shirts in her store in Northern Minnesota, they were a hit and that is where it all began! Little did we know that lakegirl would be loved by so many...our first wholesale show was Atlanta and it was AWESOME! Now we have almost 500 stores selling our product and we just keep getting better.
