Description

The AmeriCorps Youth Transition Project provides mentoring and service in a variety of areas for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health disorders in Jacksonville. AmeriCorps members serve for one full year (52 weeks), part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time (40 hrs/week). AmeriCorps members develop and facilitate trainings which build critical skills in the following areas: academic, independent living, wellness, work readiness and financial literacy; as well as volunteer recruitment. AmeriCorps members will serve at a variety of Arc Jacksonville locations.
