We offer an access point for artists to integrate into the economic, educational and civic engagement resources available through Anchorage’s public and private sectors. This access point represents innovative training and educational support for contract, bio and portfolio writing, civic engagement applications, performance and quality assessment, volunteer management, youth and young adult mentorship integration and general business management.

As one of the most diverse community in the United States, the City of Anchorage has a need and a responsibility to be a leader in strengthening communities. To connect creative and conscientious artists with public and private agencies, these community members will now have access to provide, receive and drive the therapeutic and practical benefits of art, civic and other creative engagement opportunities. The Anchorage Downtown Partnership has generously offered their full support as our primary sponsor. This has given the Co-op a venue and the access to truly make a significant impact throughout the city of Anchorage. Under the Office of the Mayor, the Youth Advisory Commission has been vital to the co-op’s mission to integrate education into the landscape of the community The ability to integrate and align with the visions and directives from the City and State level places the Co-op and centralized, innovative space to translate those visions into long-term and sustainable economic partnerships.Company Rating
