Strengthening Families Grant Update: The first grant year is coming to a close. We started the Grant Program in Feb/Mar which was late for the year 2014/15. The new year starts July 1. In order to complete this years grant we need families to fill out the same survey they completed in March. I know it is a fast turn around and I appreciate all of you taking the time to fill out the survey. What the grant is doing for AMS families: we now have a parent lending library (the list is here on FB photos), we are working on a Parent Date Night for next fall as well as Parent Education nights. Thank you to all of the AMS parents for your support.
It's Teacher Appreciation Week!! So, don't forget to thank your child's teacher who cares so much for each of our children as they encourage curiosity and tirelessly instill the love of learning.
