Hi! I'm Angie, an at home wife & mom :) When I have free time, I love to paint meaningful, encouraging & uplifting words! I paint just part time & typically sell the signs in a local shop and to friends & family. I first started painting back in 2009 when we moved to our new (old) home. I was looking for a way to decorate inexpensively, but in a meaningful way. My husband & I found many old, beautiful boards out in the barn & so I started painting on them & really liked the way they looked aged & worn. And I've continued to paint since then :) I chose the name; "Ancient Words Painted" based on the lyrics from the song; "Ancient Words -- ancient words ever true, changing me & changing you..." and based on Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Many of the signs I make are verses from the Bible or are based on scripture. It's my sincere hope that my paintings of His words encourage & refresh you!
