Agricultural Preservation Environmental Conservation Sportsmen Society. We are Uniting Traditions.
---Advocating for Agricultural Preservation--- Due to the world's growing demand for food, we recognize and support sustainable, humane, and economical agricultural practices, including commercial and organic food operations. Our goal is to further agriculture's economic and wildlife resource benefits, and pass this legacy on to future generations. ---Championing Outdoor Traditions--- APECS advocates the proper management of outdoor resources by reaching out to our primary decision makers. The economic, environmental, and conservation benefits ensured by championing outdoor traditions is a pillar of APECS Society. It is our goal to preserve wildlife habitats and recreational outdoor activities for future generations. ---Increasing Environmental Conservation--- APECS is committed to lobbying for the collaboration and conservation efforts of the Outdoor and Agricultural Communities; bringing these issues to our policy makers is of paramount importance. By solidifying the natural partnership between these two original conservationists, an unprecedented level of cooperation founded in land preservation may be achieved. ---Supporting Multiple Use Management--- APECS values and actively pursues responsible and ethical political decisions that positively impact agricultural preservation, environmental conservation, outdoor heritage, ranching, and timber harvesting that align with multiple use management. It is our goal to highlight the social, economic, and environmental benefits of uniting these activities.

CSFA is dedicated to ensuring our members a strong and united voice in the evolution of of the fire service through unity in leadership, political action, education, training and quality member services. The California State Firefighters' Association began in 1922, when a small group of firefighters met in Fresno to discuss the state of the fire service in California. After some discussion, it was decided that the very best way to serve the public and firefighters was to form an organization to work towards enacting laws to protect the public from fire and to improve working conditions for firefighters. As a result of that first conference, the California State Firefighters' Association, Inc. was born. From this initial gathering, a membership of more than 24,000 has grown. Members include paid, volunteer, military and industrial firefighters, members of the California Department of Forestry, United States Forest Disaster Office, Office of Emergency Services (Fire and Rescue Division), State Fire Marshal's Office, State Fire Service and Training Program and California state-employed firefighters. Time has proven that a consolidated effort of California's fire service through CSFA has helped all its branches.
