Description

As a fresh graduate of Fanshawe College, I am both knowledgeable and excited to help you!. While there, I completed many volunteer hours at a gym for people with disabilities, a senior's gym, and I also programmed for and trained the police foundations students. Some of my favourite classes at Fanshawe were Wellness, Nutrition, and Health Promotion. I have always been active, but winter sports are more my style- figure skating and skiing being my favourites. I've done both since I was young, and during holidays I still coach new figure skaters. When I was in high school, I decided I wanted to be healthier. Unfortunately, I didn't know how. I started excessively exercising and eating very little. Before things got out of hand, my family bought me a gym membership where I got inspired to go where I am today. As a personal trainer, I want to help people achieve personal goals and make their lives better. I believe health is so much more than fitness- it's a balance of many things, and I believe helping people find that balance in their life is my calling. I recently worked as an Active Care Specialist, where I helped people with aches, pains and previous injuries get back into exercise through both exercise and assessments by a physiotherapist. I am currently enjoy running classes in the Oakville area, and part-time running a recreation desk, planning activities for residents and personal training as well! This diversity of my experience gives me the edge over others, so that I can help you no matter what your hesitations, goals, and/or previous injuries! Contact me any time, with any questions!
