Cradle of Hope Adoption Center, a nonprofit adoption agency with 25 years of experience, is seeking adoptive families for these children who are deaf or have hearing loss: - Junius is a sweet 3 year old deaf boy who is in good health. He was found abandoned behind an emergency center when he was 14 months old. Junius is described as cheerful, friendly, curious and strong-willed. He likes to help with chores, play outside, and to help other children. He loves to play with toy cars. We have a video of Junius that will melt your heart. - Lenny, age 6.5, was born with ear deformities and hearing loss in both ears. He was abandoned at 6 months of age. Lenny has a cochlear implant which has improved his hearing a little, but he’s still not able to hear his teachers well. Other than his hearing, Lenny is healthy. He is described as cute and bright. He can count and speak. He needs a family to love. Lenny will be visiting the US this summer and can be hosted in your home for three weeks in July (East Coast families are preferred, but families living elsewhere may be considered). One trip overseas is required to bring one of these children home. Married couples and single women ages 30 – 55 are eligible to adopt. For more information, please contact Linda Perilstein at lperilstein@cradlehope.org or 301-587-4400. Thanks so much.

Cradle of Hope Adoption Center, a nonprofit adoption agency with 25 years’ experience, is searching for a family for Bobby, who is 8 years old and deaf and lives in China. He was abandoned when he was 4 years old. He lives in a foster family, where he is a good helper and playmate to his foster siblings. Bobby is in good health. He is described as kind, sensible, and clever and everyone likes him. Bobby takes care of himself (feeding, washing, dressing) and likes to help his foster mom with chores. He loves to learn and wants to do homework like his foster brothers do. He feels proud when he earns a “thumbs up.” We have a great video of Bobby playing on a playground Email executivedirector@azhv.org if you would like more information.
