ALAC: Investing in a Legacy for our Community of Latino Arts & Culture in the "Heart of Downtown Phoenix."

ALAC is a cultural center that promotes and preserves Latino~Mexican~Xicano~Indigenous Arts & Cultures. Featuring a main gallery, "La Galeria 147" and two smaller galleries, "El Rincon" and "La Campilla" plus a small performing stage, "Teatro Galeria." ~1st Friday Programs @ALAC; ARTE.Sabados for Children Classes. FREE & OPEN to the Public every month of the year, 6-9:00 PM. ~La Tiendita Gift Shop: Featuring original art by local artists and artisans; some imports from Mexico and includes handmade by local artists. ~ALAC Services: 1. Art Galeria & Space: Available for Rental of events, meetings, theater. 2. Master Framer: Jose Andres Giron: Creates new frames and Repair work. 3. Catering by Titina Pacheco

PARKING OPTIONS: PARK & Take Light Rail: Park at Phoenix Art Museum and take the Light Rail on Central to 1st Street & Adams; walk 1 block east to SE corner Adams & 1st Street. FREE PUBLIC PARKING: ($5 fee) SW Corner Washington/2nd Street, 1 block south of ALAC on Washington. PARKING GARAGE, Hyatt: 2nd Street/Adams SE corner ($12) Fee. Above ALAC Cultural Center.
