A modular, freethinking school which mixes practical and theoretical approaches to encourage high-level creative and critical thinking. Our Aims: - To provide a space for the creation and discussion of art across all mediums. - To work outside the administrative and regulatory boundaries that confine institutional approaches to teaching the applied humanities. - To provide a platform for high quality teachers, practitioners and speakers from Berlin and internationally. - To promote the value of face to face learning and to foster an environment of discursive, collaborative education. We understand that learning is a communal experience, which best happens through free conversation between peers and mentors. - To offer focused career development and mentoring for emerging and mid career artists with experts in the field. - To focus on the evolution of creative work and thought, rather than certificates, awards and outcomes.
