Since its establishment 20 years ago Artmedia continues to provide artists’ materials to the Highland population. Artmedia is located at 104 Church Street in the historic Old Town District of Inverness, Scotland. Since1991 Artmedia has developed it into a specialist fine art store. During this time Artmedia became a Winsor & Newton Premier Art Centre. An internal refit in 2010 saw the installation of new Winsor & Newton merchandising units which are more contemporary in design and show the products in a consumer friendly way. Full ranges of colour in various media are available in both the student and artists’ quality paint. Further customer support is provided by the shop’s helpful and friendly staff who have good product knowledge and a willingness to offer advice. They are all working artists in their own right and have exhibited their work locally and indeed one staff member has shown his artwork in a gallery in Hollywood USA! Artmedia stocks a wide selection of materials from many of the leading art material manufacturers The varied stock includes brushes, all paint media, mount board, paper, card, easels, technical drawing materials, glass paints and modelling materials such as air-drying clays. Aspiring and professional artists, architects and designers and anyone in need of materials to meet their creative projects use the shop. A postal service is available. Throughout the year Artmedia offers exclusive in store consumer saving promotions, which are always popular so take a walk in the enhanced streetscape of the Old Town to see what Artmedia has in store.
