Arts Estuary 1024 is a multi-tenant arts facility in a renovated historic building. The center is located at 1024 Elysian Fields Avenue in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans on the edge of the St. Claude Avenue Arts District. Arts Estuary 1024 supports a collaborative environment that fosters the growth and development of individuals and organizations dedicated to the creative arts and community engagement. The facility is primarily used as administrative space for local cultural organizations but can also accommodate meetings, gatherings, rehearsals, receptions and events. Arts Estuary 1024 includes offices, meeting rooms, event space, and parking, which are available for rent. The office space allows tenants to share resources, knowledge, and back office support to increase the reach of their missions, and includes amenities such as internet, phone, a full kitchen, outdoor patio and free meeting space. Meeting rooms and outdoor space, available to the public and tenants, create important gathering spaces, and can be rented for single events or long-term recurring events. In addition, there is long-term parking available in a secure parking lot with 24-hour access.

The New Orleans Mint operated in New Orleans, Louisiana, as a branch mint of the United States Mint from 1838 to 1861 and from 1879 to 1909. During its years of operation, it produced over 427 million gold and silver coins of nearly every American denomination, with a total face value of over US$ 307 million. It was closed during most of the American Civil War and Reconstruction.After it was decommissioned as a mint, the building has served a variety of purposes, including as an assay office, a United States Coast Guard storage facility, and a fallout shelter.Since 1981 it has served as a branch of the Louisiana State Museum. Damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, after over two years of repairs and renovations, the museum reopened in October 2007.As of April 2015, the museum's music exhibits include instruments used by some of New Orleans' notable jazz musicians, photographs, and posters, and are planned to open as the Louisiana Music Museum. The site is also a performance venue for jazz concerts, in partnership with the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park and the private "Music at the Mint" organization.
