ArtX, home of the FireCracker Hat Dancers, Illuminated Art Cars, Flow Arts, and Light Spinners will spark the creativity in YOUR life through workshops and events. ArtX (formerly Art Cars of Houston) was founded by Art Car Artists in 2009 to produce GlowOrama - a celebration of art and technology. ArtX offerings have grown from one event in 2009 to a variety of events and several licensed performing groups including the FireCracker Hat Dancers and Flow Artists. ArtX has developed a curriculum of classes and workshops designed to foster creativity in a variety of mediums with art cars and art bikes as the primary "vehicle". ArtX is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, 100% volunteer-run, and all funds raised are used for programs and public showcase events.
