Description

A little about myself: I have been an event and vacation photographer. My most resent shoots was the 2014 Breeders Cup at Santa Anita Park. I was picked as one of 15 photographers to shoot pictures in the Trophy Room. That was great experience. I think the highlight was when Rich Sambora photographer handed me his equipment and asked me to take a picture of him with someone in his party. He said he would never forget that photo. He was not expecting what I did. I was also chosen to do the Taste of Napa. Were I picked up a few wine clients to take pictures of their product a new field for me. I have done numinous vacation shoots this is a new and growing field of photography. I go with families, groups, and couples, on their vacation. This gives them a chance to get shots they normally would not get and enjoy their vacation. I have had the chance to do a lot of traveling with this and love doing it but it does keep me away from home. The advantage of this type of photography is that you don't have to worry if you going to get a good photo or not and everyone is always in the picture. I can go with you on the whole vacation or just go to one spot and get those special pictures. Event/party: When I do these events/parties the host love it. They tell everyone to leave their cell phones in their purse or car. The host gets to see things at the party they normally would not have seen. There is more interaction. After about 10 minuets no one even notices me. Someone else is taking the photo's and everyone is enjoying themselves, plus they have someone else helping move the party. Engagement shoots which is a little bit more serious, but also fun. I have done a few at the beach, mountains, farm and Oak Glen.
