Asian American Bar Association of Kansas City ("AABAKC") is an association of Asian Pacific American (APA) attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students, providing a network for its members and serving the legal needs and interests of the community. Founded in late spring of 2005, AABAKC held its kick-off reception to announce its presence in the greater Kansas City legal community. Since then, AABAKC has been actively involved in the community, including participation in the Heartland Diversity Job Fair, fundraising for civic groups such as the Metropolitan Organization to Combat Sexual Abuse, and providing scholarships to deserving Asian American law students.
