You can have the most awesome ministry and/or music, but if no one comes to hear you, then nothing really gets accomplished. For those of you interested in a record label, audience draw is very important. You receive extra points toward your score for every 25 people you bring. Judging: For preliminary rounds judging will be done by local radio personalities and local musicians who specialize in the different music categories. For the semi-finals and finals, we will bring in some key industry leaders. It is one of our goals to provide you with exposure to industry executives so that you can have the opportunity to ask questions, get advice and discuss a record deal if it is appropriate. The music tournament is an awesome opportunity for you to discover your strengths, work on your weaker points and meet other musicians. The experience alone is well worth participating. In addition, this is the primary way THE PEAK will audition artists for our upcoming regular schedule and for opening slots with national acts. It is our desire to help you reach your potential as musicians, to give all artists in the tournament experience and exposure and to help those called to the national scene succeed. Even if you are not interested in a record deal, the tournament will expose your music and ministry to many area youth pastors and promoters. We look forward to getting to know your music and ministry during the 2014 Mile High Battle of the bands tournament.
