Sinds 01-01-2011 werkend in Ambacht Ateliers in de Bilt, Rita Schildert sinds 2003 maar is al van kinds af aan actief aan het tekenen en schetsen geweest. In de jaren 80 heeft zij het accent gehad op het vervaardigen van Keramiek, practische omstandigheden maakte dat ze daar mee is gestopt. Maar haar handen gaan nog steeds tintelen bij de aanblik van klei. Schilderen is nu een passie waar ze zo veel mogelijk van haar tijd in steekt. Naast het realiseren van exposities en deelname aan kunstmarkten of beursen.
