Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology is a 24-month, full-time, hospital-based program.
Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is the sponsoring institute for the School of Radiologic Technology. The academic and clinical components are designed to provide qualified applicants with the knowledge and skills essential for an entry-level radiographer. New classes begin in September following the Labor Day holiday. Graduates are eligible to apply for American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography. Our radiography program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center and the clinical affiliates are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Educational requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of an associate degree, or be enrolled in a bachelor in radiography program with an affiliate university. Those applicants with a strong math science background are given preference. The program maintains various clinical sites to give students a diverse educational experience. Major clinical sites: Aurora Sinai Medical Center Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center Aurora West Allis Medical Center Clinical affiliates: Aurora St. Luke's South Shore Aurora Medical Center in Summit Aurora Medical Center Grafton Lakeshore Medical Clinic in St. Francis The program maintains several articulations with Wisconsin Universities in order to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science.
