23rd Annual Austin International Poetry Festival (AIPF) April 9-12, 2015, is open to the public.This four-day citywide, all-inclusive celebration of poetry and poets has grown to become "the largest non-juried poetry festival in the U.S." The festival will include up to 20 live local readings, 20 poetry workshops, 5 open mics, 5 music and poetry presentations, one youth anthology read, two anthology competitions and complete readings, two poetry slams, an all-night open mic and a poetry panel symposium. API projects over 250 registered poets from the international, national, state, and local areas. Information on featured poets, venues, and other important festival details will be coming soon!
Princess in Training, Inc. also referred to as P.I.T. is a leadership and character development organization for girls ages 12-18. P.I.T. is committed to ensuring that girls in their tweens and teens know their self-worth and potential to change the world, as they grow into womanhood.
