Description

We are leading research efforts into building the Internet of Things, connecting objects in the physical world to digital information on the Internet. Pervasive and ubiquitous computing is at the heart of our research where computers will increasingly disappear into all 'Things' around us. Our research focus spans from building tiny computers such as smart dust to revolutionary applications such as anti-counterfieting and helping older people live safely and independently. We work on fundamental research projects to pragmatic and industrial research projects to deliver innovative solutions built around the Internet of Things. As part of the global Auto-ID Labs network, our research results drive the shaping of global standards in cooperation with GS1.
