Chinese New Year, visiting London........? Book Avo Hotel from £79...
Yay, for another adorable GooglePlaces review! "What a lovely hotel! we live in Dalston but stayed with you for two nights as we wanted a bit of luxury and privacy after our wedding. It was perfect. The room was like a studio flat - big enough to spread out all our wedding presents, fantastically warm in a freezing December and the service was full of personal touches. We stay at hotels all over the world for business and pleasure, and individual enterprises like the Avo Hotel are becoming rare. We will use this hotel for guests who come to visit us in the future and will always have happy memories of our time there."
Speaking of Dalston, it's just popped up in the latest season of 24! (Avo's traditional Xmas viewing marathon ;)
Lovely new Google review for Avo :) "The welcome was warm, friendly and the chap on reception was very chatty. My room was excellent, perhaps a little on the small side but that was my fault as I had the option to book a larger room and didn't. The room was spotlessly clean, modern and very "boutique" in style. Despite my room facing out onto Dalston Lane there was no noise at all and it was very quiet during the night. Lots of small details improve the stay, the Elemis toiletries, the bathrobe, the large TV and good quality tea/coffee and biscuits. I paid £79 for my room on promotional offer, it was an absolute bargain and I will be returning to the hotel again soon. The hotel has a real family feel. When I came down to go out for the evening two teenage boys were sat in the lobby doing homework and they were chatty and very polite. They let me out and wished me a nice evening. Highly recommended. A great little hideaway on the outskirts of trendy Dalston, Shoreditch and Hackney."
Q. Why did the dinosaur cross the road? A. Because there were no chickens back then!
Lots of plan-ahead people love Avo. We only have one room left for NYE!
5*review time! "I stayed at Avo hotel for three nights while I was in London for a conference. I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in a very charming area with walking distance to great bars, restaurants, cafes and Jazz places. Quiet place close to subway station. The room I stayed in was small, but very clean and comfortable and well equipped that made my stay very pleasant. The bed was great. The best part of my stay was the people who work there. They were friendly, helpful and kind. I will definitely return to this place for my next trip to London. I recommend Avo hotel for your next stay without any hesitation."
What Steve said about us: "It was very quiet and comfortable. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and I'm happy to recommend it." Cheers!

*Blushes* Our newest 5star review on @TripAdvisor "Amazing hotel owned by a lovely family... I could not rate this hotel highly enough. The family are very welcoming and are helpful. The room we had was a compact double and provided us with all that we needed. There was air conditioning which was very needed and a useful guide in the room on all that was on offer."
"Avo Hotel offers a fantastic location, a comfortable bed, free wifi and an ensuite bathroom at a really good price for London standards. Staff is also very helpful and friendly. We'll definitely come back!" Oscar Martin on Google Review
Yay for more 5* Google reviews! Matthew says: "We spent one night at the Avo this week. We were given room 007, which was a huge room with a king sized bed, kitchenette and lovely shower room. We were very impressed as we had expected a straightforward double room. The room had thoughtful touches - tea and coffee, good quality toiletries, spotless clean linen and towels - everything you could possibly want for a short stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and I was delighted to see good quality, comfy pillows which ensured a very good night's sleep. The location was spot-on for us and close to many bars and restaurants. The staff were very welcoming on arrival. We would absolutely return to the Avo Hotel if we need a place to stay in Dalston again. Excellent value."
