Alfredton sports and community club is the social hub of Alfreton, it is home to the Ballarat football club and the Ballarat memorial bowls club.

Originally started mid 2012 as a group of dinner companions, to meet people and experience Ballarat's many eateries we are now aiming to expand to include a wider variety, and more frequent, activities - such as *dinners *movie nights *drinks after work *live music and dancing *picnics *pub trivia *local events and activities *theatre and concerts *karaoke *day trips *walks Still want to have a group of people who enjoy good food, interesting conversation and are fun to go out with. If you would like to meet some new people with a common interest, perhaps you should join up! Looking forward to some fun nights (and days) out! Suggestions for events/activities are welcome from all members. Members are also encouraged to host events themselves. The Club is open to everyone - male, female, partnered, single, with or without children. Some members are locals looking to increase their social circles, others are new to the area and want to get out and meet new people.
