As the name suggests, the Balti King specialises in the traditional Balti dish. Balti is an aromatically spiced Indian dish, cooked in a cast iron wok to enhance its exotic flavours. Each dish has its own distinctive taste, where the herbs and spices are added in individual amounts to achieve the authentic and unique flavour. Having served up aromatic meals for almost 20 years, it is clear to see why the Balti King is considered royalty! The mouth watering menu offers over 700 variety of dishes to suite every palate and every appetite, and the selection of dishes is phenomenal. Vegetarians will not be disappointed with the variety that is on offer – they even have their very own menu! For those with a large appetite – why not munch your way through ar monster meal? Feeling a bit exotic? Why not try the paneer balti (Kashmiri-style lamb with curd cheese, onions, ginger, garlic and corriander)? If you are unable to find your favourite meal in the menu (highly unlikely) all you need do is speak to one of the waiters and the Balti King chefs will be more than happy to indulge your every whim! Balti King head chef Jalal Din has been in the trade for over 30 years and is considered to be one of the best Balti Chefs in the industry. Tony Hussain, the Balti King himself, puts much of his success down to the hard work of his team. Tony offers a personal service, being on first name terms with most of his regular customers. He offers a welcoming and friendly service so that not only do you get a fantastic meal but you can rely upon the excellent service of the waiters to make your evening something special. Balti King is proud of their approach to team work and in similar vein sponsors many of the local rugby, hockey and football clubs, the photographs of which adorn the walls of the restaurant together with the numerous celebrities who have dined there. The restaurant has a large upstairs room which is ideal for group bookings, seating upto 60 people, and provides a wonderful setting for a private party. Balti King is also experienced in catering for private parties in your home. The food will be delivered hot and fresh and professionally served.
