Description

Hey, I'm Barry Greene. I create online lessons for musicians who are looking to improve their jazz guitar playing. I show them how to get much more out of the onerous jazz theory they’ve been learning while greatly improving the artistic side of their playing. I have been a professor of Jazz Studies at the University of North Florida School of Music since 1995. I have performed all over the United States and Europe with some of the finest musicians in the world. I have endorsements with Benedetto Guitars, Benedetto Amplifiers and Thomastik-Infeld Strings. I have authored several books through Mel Bay Publishing and have written three interactive iBooks. When I’m not performing or teaching, I can be found listening to a lot of R&B and Soul music. I try to stay fit by biking at least 40 miles a week, and have been trying to learn French for quite a while. Trés Difficile:) If you’re dying to know more, here are a couple of things you probably don’t know about me… I like country music. I’ve always wished I had a voice like Brian McKnight, or anyone good for that matter.
