Whether you have taken up a New Year's Resolution, want to get fit, or fancy yourself as a Strictly Star, Ballroom and Latin dance classes at BCU are perfect for you. Come and have a go every Monday at 6:30pm at the Woodcock Sports Centre for Ballroom and Latin, and then 8pm at Aston Guildhall for some Salsa, followed by a chance to socialise and practice those moves. It doesn't matter if you have never set foot on the dance floor, or whether you have been dancing all your life, BCU's Ballroom and Latin Dancesport Team is a fun way to learn Ballroom and Latin dances, with opportunities to compete and attend salsa socials. Our aim is to make things fun for you, so students get to decide which dances we learn each week, and sometimes even the music! 'Dance Team' may sound scary, but we are all really friendly, and there is no obligation to compete. We also offer the opportunity to take Medal Exams, which we offer at a very low price. These help to improve your technique, as well as motivating you to keep training, as you get a medal and certificate when you pass them. The classes are very relaxed, there is no dress code and no need to have a partner. However, we like you to invite as many friends as possible because the bigger the class the more fun we have.
