Description
Beerkary comes from a simple desire to combine our two favourite things – beer and baked goods. It also recognises that brewing and baking share a similar craft and science, as well as some base ingredients. We make beer-matched baked goods and do pop-up events in collaborations with bars and brewers. Beerkary Bakery is a project by Ben Devlin and Yen Trinh. Ben is a chef has worked locally and overseas in Byron Bay, Brisbane and Copenhagen. For the past 2 years he has been Chef de Cuisine at Brisbane’s multi-award winning restaurant Esquire. Yen is an urbanist and designer, who works in urban spaces, community building and collaborative design.
