A group of passionate, community minded cyclists have teamed up with local charities Give Me 5 for Kids and The OTIS Foundation to bring together the Bendigo Cycling Classic. This inaugural cycling event has been developed to support these two well deserving charities, harness the power of the community and create a FUN, healthy event for locals and visitors alike. We’re offering a selection of rides in order to get everyone involved from the serious, lycra-clad bike riders, occasional weekend riders and families who want to have a FUN day out meandering through the picturesque Mandurang Valley. We have for rides ranging in distance from 25km perfect for families (kids under 12 are free) right up to 100km for those wanting more of a challenge. On the day our local Service Clubs will be providing BBQ Brekky’s and there’ll be some family FUN for our valued supporters. We encourage visitors from outside Bendigo to have a weekend stay-cation and discover our arts and culture, delicious dining options and diverse retail precincts. Every dollar raised will help brighten the day of a family in need, made possible by the generous support of the riding community and events like the Bendigo Cycling Classic.
