A first for Bendigo - Yes, this a BEER ONLY event! 36 feature beers and soft drink / water available for DD's and non-drinkers. Our venues will be putting on great beer food to match. Delicious! This is unlike any other festival, where your $45 entry gets you 36 x 70ml tastings of the great beers on offer. Normally you have to pay that just to get into the event. Great value ;) A great excuse for non-beer drinkers to taste what REAL beer is all about, and discover the amazing world of aroma and taste that good beer brings. We are getting close to selling out the event (1,200 pre-sold), so due to venue licence capacities we will only be able to cater for those with a valid ticket. Make sure to head to Black Swan for the Official After Party. There'll be ciders, spirits etc there, but rest assured we'll be having another beer to celebrate a great day for Bendigo!
If you had trouble buying tickets to Bendigo On The Hop today, don't fret. We sold out our first release of tickets, so we have just released more. Get in quick, tickets are selling FAST! (obviously!)

For anybody who went to Bendigo On The Hop. You may have recieved an email from Sproutix saying they had been hacked. My credit card info was stolen and someone has beend spending like crazy on it. If you were there I suggest you check your accounts and cancel the card you used to buy the tickets.
IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE: As many people may be aware the online ticketing system Sproutix has been subject to a targeted online attack. The attack has compromised the credit card details of those who used the system to purchase tickets to various events this year, including our event Bendigo On The Hop. Unfortunately, Bendigo Beer were only notified of this a few days ago. Sproutix have since kept us updated with their co-investigation with its banking / security partners SecurePay & ANZ Bank and are continuing to monitor all transactions as they occur. Sproutix, as a precautionary move, has migrated its online payment processing platform of SecurePay to another PCI-DSS compliant platform in order to mitigate any issues that may have arisen from such fraudulent activity. We recommend all those who purchased Bendigo On The Hop tickets through Sproutix to check their bank statements and, if necessary, contact their respective banks. Additionally, if you wish to contact Sproutix directly, you can contact them on 1300 737 363 Mon-Fri 8:30 am – 6:00 pm or email at email@example.com Bendigo Beer understands that this incident was an unfortunate one for Sproutix. We review all partners, activities and events each year and our online ticketing partner will be no different in that process. We ask that people continue to support Bendigo Beer which is passionately run by volunteers and one of only two Not-For-Profit beer organisations in Australia. Our events inject significant tourism spending into Bendigo and promote our amazing city as Australia’s regional craft beer capital. Here’s cheers to good beer, Bendigo Beer
We thank everyone who contacted us to let us know about this. We will let you know any more details as soon as they are provided to us by Sproutix. If you have been affected by this scam, please contact your bank.
So will you be letting people know that the ticketing provider (Sproutix) you used was hacked? So far 5 people including myself that all went to Bendigo on the Hop have either had their card accessed and maxed out or luckily caught early and had the cards cancelled in the last few weeks. https://www.facebook.com/SproutSystems/posts/577500325723956
