I am a betta hobbyist located in Richmond, VA. I've kept bettas as pets on and off since 2004, but I didn't get my start as a betta breeder until June 2015, when I imported my first pairs of bettas and registered to join the IBC. My main breeding goal is to one day bring together my two favorite betta varieties, king crowntails and giants, into one line and produce a fish with the the finnage of a king crowntail and the size and body of a giant betta. Currently I am keeping a line of crowntail-giant hybrids, as well as maintaining a line of crowntails and a line of giants to cross my main line to as needed. I am also looking into the possibility of keeping Guitar Smaragdina sometime in the future. I hope to update this page with breeding milestones, sales, and other betta-related posts, so stay tuned.
