Student Services offers advice, guidance and support on issues and queries relating to Money Matters, Childcare advice, Visa & Immigration, Job Prospects and Careers, Disability support, Counselling, Mental Health and the Chaplaincy. Check out our "notes" for more information on each of our services and some tips and advice.

General Info

If you are unsure which service you need, or want to talk about a variety of issues, then you can attend a Student Help-Zone drop-in where qualified advisers will have an initial discussion with you. In this session you may receive the assistance you require or may need referring to a specialist adviser. We currently offer drop-ins at three sites: City North: Baker building, 1st Floor City South: Seacole building, Level 2 Millennium Point: Level 3 *Student Services reserves the right to remove posts from its wall if they are abusive and inappropriate. We will only allow the advertisements of events and offers that benefit our students and are related to the areas covered by Student Services. For example, the posting of rooms and housing will be removed as this service is offered and monitored by the University's Student's Union and is not something we are able to advise upon or vett. We will also remove any services that we are unable to check the validity of.
