Birmingham Heart Clinic provides high-quality cardiovascular care and offers a full range of diagnostic and treatment options for vascular disease. With our patients as first priority, we are committed to deliver respectful, state-of-the-art, and comprehensive cardiac and vascular services to promote their health and wellbeing. We strive to provide effective communication, relevant education, and an atmosphere of integrity for patients and providers. BHC has 15 expert physicians and four clinic locations. The main campus is located at 100 Pilot Medical Drive across from St. Vincent’s East in Trussville. The other three locations are in Pell City at Northside Medical Associates, in Oneonta at St. Vincent’s Blount, and downtown at St. Vincent’s Birmingham. The main facility contains clinical offices, an active research department and a full range of diagnostic equipment. The on-site diagnostic facility was one of Birmingham’s first to earn accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories for high-quality patient care and diagnostic testing. BHC also utilizes a Toshiba 64-slice CT scanner to provide top-quality computed tomography imaging, a non-invasive diagnostic method that reduces patients’ needs for invasive heart catheterization studies. Additionally, BHC has been recognized by the Spectranetics Corporation as a Center of Excellence for coronary and peripheral laser ablation therapy—only the second group in the U.S. to receive this honor.
