I believe that child birth is beautiful. I believe that birth is both humbling and empowering. I believe that birth is both sacred and a time to laugh. I believe that birth is both normal and unpredictable. I believe that all women can have a more successful birthing experience if they are allowed to labour in a scenario where they feel safe, encouraged, supported and respected. Doulas can help to create and sustain that scenario. As a doula, I aim to provide information without bias, support without judgement, and encouragement to make the decisions that are right for you and your family. I aim to work with your existing support team to provide you with the most exceptional care possible. Every woman is completely unique when it comes to pregnancy, labour, child birth and motherhood. I will follow you on whatever path your experience takes you... Sarah is a DONA certified birth doula and has completed Dancing for Birth™ Instructor training, CPR, and advanced doula training workshops with Melissa Cowl and Penny Simkin. She is the current Chair of the Doula Collective and the provincial representative for DONA International.
