Hi Just a quick reminder about Wargamer coming up this Sunday, do not forget it's an early start 1/2 nine yes 1/2 nine! The new address and website details can be found below in the post Derby post. I shall now get on painting the new aether weapon firing line troops and the naval ratings with aether weapons. We will have the new cavalry painted up and on display including my favourite gas masked horse and rider. See you all on Sunday Phil and Ant
Thanks to every one who made Fiasco a great success, it is always good to put faces to posts so to speak. Had a few interesting ideas chucked about as well, one or two were close to ones we had already knocked about a bit but wondered if any one else would be interested now it appears they may be so watch this space. I am in the process of painting up the display models for the new cavalry figures including the gas masked horse, we will get photos up as soon as possible. We have decided to make the cavalry available as a pack of two, a mix and match, of the five horses, three sets of legs, two torsos one of which has a choice of sword or lance and any of the currently available heads or at least that is the plan. Don't forget Wargamer is coming up in a couple of weeks details of the new venue can be found below.
Hi folks Just a quick reminder Fiasco on Sunday at the Armouries Leeds, so make a full day of it as far as I remember the Armouries may still be free, you may even be able to convince your other halves to visit the shopping in Leeds is pretty good even on a Sunday. See you all there Phil and Ant
Hi Just had confirmation that Penkridge Wargames Tabletop sale will be taking place at the Memorial Hall Penkridge on Sunday January 4th, 10 to 3. We will be there as usual so another date for your diaries. We will keep you updated as info becomes available Cheers Ant & Phil
Hi folks We have just confirmed on the Fiasco Facebook page that we will be attending so any body from up that way who cannot make Derby see you there.
Just a quick note the new figures have gone off to Fire dragon, so hopefully lots of new shiny toys ready for Derby. We will try and get some photos up here and on the Web site before then. Breaking news I have just seen Ant's mail confirming our intention to attend Cannon in Retford next March, we have booked our selves in for the last two years but the fates have conspired to thwart us, there were Greek heroes who had it easier, Anyway we intend to make this one even if we have to walk! Although, we hope that no snow and a mechanically sound van will make it a bit easier than that. Cheers Ant and Phil
Well, the Pyramid will be at The Other Partizan on Sunday 7th September - okay, I won't be there, as I am living it up in London for that weekend, but Phil is manning the fort and looking forward to meeting everyone for a great day. Enjoy!

Hi ,Unfortunately, due to bereavement we may not be able to deal with orders and queries quite as quickly as we would like for the next week or so, we would ask that you bear with us until things get back on track. Thanks Ant & Phil
Phalanx!!! Saturday 14 June - held at Sutton Leisure Centre, Elton Head Road, St Helen's, WA9 5AU - from 10am to 4.30pm. Phil will be in charge, struggling to get all our new stock in place - plenty of new Steampunk stuff with Empire of the Dead, Requiem and Vampire Wars, plus a good restock of the battlesuits and characters for Incursion and Secrets of the Third Reich. Under our own banner, our new Herne the Hunter figure is proving popular, as are the Beorn-kin cavalry - there will be plenty of our Steam and Steel range, plus New Caliphate infantry and loads of Iron Men. So, give Phil something to do - wish him Happy Birthday for Sunday, have a chat and, most importantly, buy something!
Phew! Matt is a friend of mine from my local wargaming club - his company, Belt Fed Gaming, debuted their range to great acclaim at Salute 2014 - Black Pyramid have them all in stock, and they will be on our website over the next 2 or 3 weeks.
Phil and I had a pretty good time at Triples in Sheffield - thank you to all our customers, especially Mr Paul Chapman, who showed us his fantastic painting skills on our Reichenbach Falls pack of figures - he being a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes in all his forms. Please check out his skills and painting service at www.paintedempires.co.uk
After a few difficult weeks hopefully things may be getting back on track. The warriors of Dragon Lake cavalry should be off to Fire Dragon ASAP along with Hourn the Hunter and some new characters for Steam and Steel within the week, then when l pull my finger out and get them finished we will have half a dozen new Steam and Steel four packs ready to go. Of course if any one has any requests we will see what we can do. Any one off to Triples please come over and say hello.
Well, how rude! Here we were, Phil and I, happily uploading the new album of figures aimed at the VBCW and inter-war genres, when my internet connection shut down, then opened again almost immediately, resulting in the last two pictures being posted into this timeline-thingy. Is this normal behaviour, I ask you? I fear that technology is proving itself unreliable in the face of irregular usage, so we will promise to do better with our updates!
Chromopia is the title that Phil has chosen to represent his Black Pyramid painting service - oh, yes, it's true....if you like Phil's painting style, and you would like our figures painted for you, look no further! A standard pack of 4 figures would be charged at £16.00, fully painted and based - single figures at £5.00 each. Of course, this includes the cleaning, gluing and varnishing - postage extra. Our latest picture album, coming in the next few minutes, contains a few examples of Phil's recent work.
