#SMTip: you have 1-2 days to follow up with people before the excitement of an event wears off - make sure that your event plan includes followup like emails, social media posts, video thank you's, and blog posts!

Did you know... ...that you can subscribe to Facebook events? If there is a business you know that holds events, you can subscribe to get notified! No more missing events, or finding out from friends too late! On the Facebook home page, scroll down the left-hand sidebar until you see 'events'. Click on it. On the left-hand sidebar click 'subscribed events'. Facebook will give you suggestions from the pages you like. Never miss an event again!

#SMTip: read a lot of those "best times to post" articles? Feel free to use them as a starting point, but then make sure you are checking your stats on a weekly basis to see if those are the times your fans are actually online and engaging! Note: many of those articles and studies are done in specific countries or specific industries that may not match your business

#SMTip: everyone has that one friend they avoid because that friend is constantly trying to sell them something. Don't be that friend! Conduct business from your Facebook business page, not your personal profile, and give your friends a choice whether or not they want to get your business news!
