Welcome to the Blue Fern Supper Club The Blue Fern is the brainchild of Mike Scaife and Peggy Milsom . The two of us have a shared love , maybe even obsessive love of food and a passion for creating beautiful , relaxed , laughter infused settings in which people can enjoy a great meal. We have worked together for a number of years and provided great dinning experiences for people. Between us we have nearly twenty years in the restaurant and catering business , Peggy has had the adventure of owning her own eatery and Mike keeps a culinary arts degree tucked quietly in his back pocket. We have decided we want to created unique small scale dining out experience with full on, seriously fabulous food. We have taken this supper club idea for a test drive…and what we learned was that the people who came enjoyed not only yummy food and drink but also loved the experience of sharing a table with people they didn’t know. This is not your awkward meal at a table with strangers as you might expect, but a comfortable and cozy and attractive dinner where you will laugh and enjoy great conversations with people you might never have crossed paths with otherwise. If you decide to take on the adventure and join us for an evening meal you will be settling in for the evening in Mikes living room and dining which is both snazzy and laid back all at once . We are centrally located in halifax North End. We are easy to reach via public transit, just in case you want to allow yourself to really take advantage of our wine and beer offering . We are lienced and will offer some lovey wines as well as a selection of Nova scotia's wonderful craft beers.We are dedicated to providing locally produced food whenever it makes sense.
