Description

Bluebell Retreat is an outdoor Bed and Breakfast for the “glamping” enthusiast, run by Carole Pugh and her boisterous labradoodle, Hector. Tucked away down a country track in rural Worcestershire, the Retreat is home to a seventeenth century cottage and is surrounded on all sides by farmland and fishing lakes. We're located between the cathedral cities of Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford with a prime position at the foot of the Malvern Hills, which offers a magnificent range of walks and cycle trails as well as the Three Counties Showground and a nationally-renowned theatre. Bluebell Retreat's three ‘glamping lodges’ (two person wooden chalets) nestle in four acres of grounds which include woodland, meadow and cottage garden. Wake up in your private lodge to a beautiful view over meadow land and enjoy a homecooked breakfast made from produce from the cottage garden. The site has recently undergone a comprehensive development and offers a new first class toilet and shower block. Have your breakfast in a classic English summer house and enjoy an afternoon tea in our African breeze house! In the coming months we hope to add to this with a spectacular wildlife pond and a hot tub, ideal for relaxing on balmy summer evenings. Later in 2015 we will also be taking group bookings for activities such as yoga retreats, writing workshops or any other outdoor activity courses. We will make sure that you cherish your time spent with us here at Bluebell Retreat, whether it be a weekend break from the rat race, a romantic getaway or a stay-cation with friends.

How To Get to Bluebell Retreat Outdoor Bed and Breakfast

From the North and South: - Leave the M5 at Junction 7 to Worcester South - Follow the A4440 towards Hereford and Leominster - Follow the sign to Hereford on the A4103 - Drive through the village of Leigh Sinton, turning left just after the 40 mph speed limit sign into Dragons Lane, a narrow country track - Follow the track for 100m down a slight decline, then turn left into Bluebell Retreat. By Train: Considering our remote location, we do recommend that each party brings their own car. However if there are others in your party who would like to arrive by train, Malvern Link train station - on the Hereford-London Paddington line - is just over 3 miles away.
