Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society (BIACS) The Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society (BIACS) came into existence in 1988 through the dedicated efforts of people of Indo-American heritage residing in the Bluegrass area of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As a non-profit organization, BIACS provides a forum for cultural, educational, civic, charitable, and social activities among its members and other interested persons and groups of the Bluegrass region.

Description

Since its inception, BIACS has been involved in a variety of socio-cultural, educational, and charitable activities such as: Cultural events, art shows, and exhibitions Educational Seminars Youth Group activities Community picnics Salvation Army (feeding the hungry) Aiding victims of natural disasters Fund raising for various causes Drive to collect toys & books for children
