Great Thai food, Take out or eat in.
Georgia Strait Article: November 25, 2010 Who likes Thai food? The name of the new Thai restaurant, Bob Likes Thai Food, (3755 Main Street) is owner Tai Keattivanichvily’s play on “everyone likes Thai food.” The menu includes pad Thai, red-curried fish cakes, pad si-ew (fried rice noodles, pork, seasonal veggies), and swimming rama (greens, peanut sauce, tofu, garlic) (all $7.50 to $10). Keattivanichvily, a former filmmaker and animator, is originally from Thailand, and his recipes come from his mother and her friend.

We are on FINAL LIST for both 'Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Award' and 'Where To Dine Awards' 4 years in a row... Thank you
new favorite thai restaurant Bob Likes Thai Food I've been back several times already! my favorite being pad thai (i know thai food isn't all about pad thai =P) Pad Thai A Thai classic of fried rice noodles with prawns, smoked tofu, peanuts, egg, bean sprouts and chives -I personally like this one versus all the others in Vancouver because it's balanced and not too sweet though I do find just a touch too salty. However the most important thing is that it's not to sweet ... everybody in Vancouver seems to just load up on the sugar.. I also tried the followings Miang Kham (picture) Is a traditional snack from Thailand and Laos, Miang originated in Northern Thailand near the border with Myanmar. The name can be interpreted as meaning ‘eating many things in one bite’ Piper sarmentosum or chaphlu leaf, roasted coconut shavings, lime, shallot, peanut, ginger and fresh chili (optional) with Tamarind Palm Sugar sauce. - I hate coconut shavings.. but in this I can actually accept I love the fagrant leaves. Tom ka gai Broth of lemon grass infused coconut milk with chicken and mushroom -its like exotic chicken soup ! absolutely loved it so much I went home to try and make it and to of course to no avail mine was mediocre... maybe I'll try one more time but I think i prefer to just buy this ready made Chicken Satay Marinated chicken on a stick with peanut sauce -dare I say it...? possibly the most moist skewer I have ate in Vancouver..? taste like it's been marinating in coconut milk.. Lime thai ice tea made from strongly brewed Ceylon tea. However, due to Ceylon tea's high price, a locally grown landrace version of Assam -if you're sensitive to caffeine you may want to drink this no later the noon. This is some strong and very refreshing tea! a little bit to much sugar but cane solved with a little more water..

Having eaten dinner twice, recently, at the Broadway location, I can definitely say, I like Bob's. It is one of my two favourite Thai restaurants in Vancouver.
