It is with great sadness we report that last week Jordan Kuzik passed away unexpectedly. He was a member of Bon Air VFD having graduated from Volunteer Recruit School #27. Shortly after completing recruit school, he was honored with a Life Save Award. Jordan was in the process of becoming certified as an EMT-P. We mourn his loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan’s family, friends, and fiancée Monica. Donations may be sent to Gageslegacy.org. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 30 at 12 noon at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 11700 Genito Rd. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd. An online registry available at blileys.com.
