How To Get to Boogaard's Bed and Breakfast

Walking directions to the new location at Pieter Jacobszstraat 21 from Amsterdam Central Station: Take a train from schiphol airport to Amsterdam Central which is a twelve minute ride. Exit the train station to the southwest, via stationsplein. Continue southwest across stationsplein, crossing Prins Henrikkade and on to Damrak. The Victory hotel will be on your right once you cross the Prins Henrikkade. Walk just over 500 meters ( yards) along Damrak to Dam Square. Turn left on to the Dam Square, cross the tram tracks carefully, and head towards the Nationaal Monument (A large stone pillar) and entrance to the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. To your right, at the large yellow wooden shoe, turn south onto Nes. Walk about 75 meters (yards) on Nes, and turn left onto Pieter Jacobszstraat. We are celebrating our 15 years as one of Amsterdam's most highly rated Bed and Breakfasts. Our newly renovated home is located in Amsterdam’s scenic canal district on Pieter Jacobszstraat, which is a quiet private street just a short walk from Central Station. Pieter Jacobszstraat lies close to one of Amsterdam’s oldest and most enchanting canals in the heart of the old city, and it is near to one of the oldest universities in the Netherlands. It is just a block south of the Dam Square and the King's Palace, and slightly west of the Sofitel Legend The Grand hotel, which is one of Amsterdam's most prestigious hotels. Our home was built in the 18th century, and while it retains great charm and character, it has all the modern conveniences of a 21st century home. In Boogaard’s Bed and Breakfast, our luxurious romantic bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are decorated in a classic and comfortable style which Peter has become know for. They are located on first floor with access to a wet and dessert bar filled with free soft drinks, tea and coffee. And, for the first time, we are offering central air conditioning in our rooms to ensure great sleeping conditions during the summer months. Each roomy bedroom has a queen size bed, a large flat screen television, a fireplace, comfortable leather chairs, a writing desk complete with an Ipad with free wireless internet, a beautiful armoire and a bookcase filled with guide books and maps. The luxurious bathrooms have large walk-in showers with a rain shower feature, marble wash basins and heated towel racks. On our roof top terrace, you can enjoy the view of the old city while relaxing in our beautiful deck chairs around the garden, with refreshments from the outside wet bar. You have private access with your own keys. We offer free laundry service when booking for four days and more, and maps and guidebooks to all of our guests. Your en-suite bathroom is supplied with fresh towels daily, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand cream, tissues and a hair dryer.
