No School Thursday, January 8 Due to the dangerously cold weather, all schools are closed Thursday, January 8. School buses will not be running. Administrative offices, including BPS Welcome Centers, the Newcomers Assessment Center, Campbell Resource Center and 26 Court Street are open and fully staffed Thursday. The Boston Center for Youth and Families will open community centers Thursday for children ages 7 and older from 7:30am-6pm. Parents/guardians will need to fill out a short intake form at drop-off. Attn: history buffs or fans of GLS. There's a new history book published recently about Girls' Latin School, titled “Her Greatness Proclaim” written by Karen Mastrobattista Curran GLS'74. It's the history of GLS from 1878-1976, which also includes much BLS history during those decades. Learn more at: blagls.org.

Reduce, reuse and recycle! BLS students, please visit Room 331on 9/4 and 9/5 from 2:15 - 3:00 to purchase gently used school supplies. We have hundreds of 3 ringed binders and other school necessities. No item will be more than 3 dollars! All donations will help support the BLS garden.
