Bowen Therapy is a hands-on treatment performed while a client lays relaxing comfortably or even sitting. A Bowen move puts gentle tension into muscles, tendons and nerves. After the move, the muscle then releases. It relaxes muscles immediately, restores joint function and improves internal systems like digestion and respiration that are controlled by nerves. Bowen Therapy immediately reduces pain and inflammation as the body restores correct muscle tone and joint alignment.
