Description

Breaking Free Community Churches centers around people meeting Jesus and developing and maturing believers of all ages to fulfill the purpose God has for them. BFCC believes that growth happens best in small groups! BFCC will be a church that meets on Sunday morning for a public meeting, but the heart of BFCC will be made up of many small groups that meet all throughout the week! These groups will be where most of the ministry of BFCC will take place and significant relationships are developed! These small groups will be led by lay-pastors who want to share in the work of ministry to the body as Paul speaks to us in Eph. 4:11-12 "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ". BFCC will outreach to people in need of emotional and spiritual support, helping them find hope and building their faith for a better life. Every church meeting provides a safe, positive environment where those who are struggling with similar challenges can come together in support, accountability, and love to find hope and healing. Every church (or community of believers) has distinguishing characteristics. One of BFCC unique purposes is to reach those who are experiencing the challenge of alcohol/narcotics addiction, divorce, depression, grief etc. If you are struggling emotionally or have a life-controlling addiction we would like to offer you help and hope. We as a church family are also geared to meet the needs of a person who has been affected by addiction both directly or indirectly by offering twelve-step groups, family recovery, and counseling by trained ministers. We are here to meet the needs of people who need more specialized attention than the local church can offer. We have found that most pastors have a heart to reach these individuals, but often lack the time and resources to do so. Our heart is to see these individuals get whole and then move back into a prosperous lifestyle. BFCC has a Servant Leadership Training school at our Breaking Free regenerations programs which are housed in Georgia and Texas! This is an on-campus, residential training school where the equipping process can be worked out in those feeling called to ministry. It involves three years of separate one year commitments for the sole purpose of allowing God to develop the gifts and calling in a disciple's life. Mathew 22:14 says, "for many are called, but few are chosen." In short, few are willing to answer the call, be obedient, and to allow God to develop them. But to those who do choose this process, Jesus said "who will lose their lives for my sake, shall save them . . .," (Matthew 10:39). Quality leadership does not come easily. It requires time, dedication, study of the word, character building, and maturity which can only come from a structured process that provides experience. Mature ministry flows from mature character that is most often formed in the graduate school of life. A ministry can not be successful through gifting alone, because a leader whose ministry skills outweigh his character formation will eventually falter. A mature, successful ministry flows from one who has ministry skills, relational skills, and godly character that has been tempered, developed, and ripened by God's specific and thorough processing. Character formation is fundamental so that a person's ministry may flow out of being, not performance, or gifting. The Servant Leadership Training focuses on all of these important areas of ministry, especially character formation. It is a safe environment where unseasoned ministers can work out their callings by teaching, and being a part of hands on ministry. This program is of no cost to those who feel led to answer the call and the commitment that is required. We believe in a hands-on approach to ministry that is learned through internship and mentoring under seasoned leaders Disclaimer**This site will be used as a safe place for people to connect to others finding support and encouragement.
