Herron High School is a public charter school located in downtown Indianapolis, providing a classical liberal arts, college preparatory education. The school's curriculum is structured around an art history timeline and emphasizes the classic art and literature of many cultures. Through an integrated curriculum and classical methodology, Herron High School believes that all students can learn to think logically, express themselves creatively, appreciate aesthetics fully, and approach any subject intelligently.
Cognitive Language Machine (CLM) is a project for open education- using NLP (Natural Language Processing) it will help to reduce education inequality.

The Brebeuf Jesuit Black Student Union (BSU) invites you to its annual Celebration of Black Culture on Monday, February 23, from 11:10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Auditorium. The theme for this year’s festival is The Melting Pot of Africa, and the event will include food from different areas of the world where black culture has roots; entertainment that includes a wax museum, musicians, poets, dancers, and more; and displays featuring significant people and events in African American culture. All are invited to attend the Celebration and support the BSU in this special event.
This past Saturday, February 7, Brebeuf Jesuit’s performers shined at the ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association) Solo & Ensemble District Contest for vocalists and musicians! Gold medals were presented to Gillian Cookerly-Dietrich ’18 and Nikhil Jain ’17 for their outstanding performances. Izzy Hackett '17 also won gold in the singing portion of ISSMA the weekend prior to this. Silver medals were awarded to Hannah Woodhouse ’16 and Kathleen Corcella ’17 for their high-scoring performances. And Katie Woodhouse ’18, Carmela Mohan ’17, Izzy Hackett '17 and Olivia Totten ’16 not only received gold medals, but also qualified to perform again at the ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble competition later this month. Brava to these young ladies! Congratulations to all of these amazing student performers!

Today, a group of Brebeuf students, faculty/staff, alumni and guests left for the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Always a great trip for all involved and we are praying for safe travels and a rewarding experience.
