Description
Thanks for visiting my bass teaching site. My name is James Stathatos, I'm a professional bassist and qualified music teacher with a a PGCE in Music from the University of Southampton. I'm also a registered member with the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT) and have been teaching electric bass since 2004. In the last few years I've relocated to Brighton for the great music opportunities this city offers. I'm an active musician and have performed with rock band Dr Scardo (Simon Scardanelli, Big Bam Boo, MCA), with the Sussex Jazz Orchestra and on double bass with numerous singer songwriters including Carrie Tree (Damien Rice, Marillion). I have worked with producer Tim Bidwell (Kate Walsh, Fink, Jennifer Left) on Cordelia Gartside's latest EP.
