Behind The Glass... Bristol Wine School is run by local wine educator Tristan Darby, who has spent over 18 years in the catering and wine trade. Tristan has many years of experience in providing wine courses, wine training and corporate and private wine tasting events, has studied with WSET and truly enjoys every opportunity to share his passion and knowledge with others. We pride ourselves on the fun, hands-on wine courses and tastings we host in Bristol, Bath and beyond, and at our events you can expect to feel welcome, have fun, meet new people and perhaps try something new in relaxed and friendly surroundings. We also believe strongly that wine should almost always be thought about in terms of it's relationship to food, so expect a couple of nibbles as you go to compliment what's in your glass. We also regularly host special events and pop up dinners with some of the areas most well regarded chefs such as Chris Staines (Allium Brasserie, Bath), Kelly Sealey ( 'The Taste' Channel 4) and Oleg Dimitrov (Bordeaux Quay Restaurant, Bristol).
