Suspension should be overhauled periodically in order to maintain a consistent level of damping performance as well as minimising fade and overall degradation of suspension internals. We also offer fork stanchion rechroming and sell genuine NOK fork seals, Paolo Tarozzi fork stanchions, genuine fork bushes, Nitron shock absorbers, K-Tech shock absorbers, YSS shock absorbers K-Tech cartridge kits and springs. All our work is carried out in controlled conditions to a very high standard. A breakdown of our servicing packages and what is included in which are as follows… Fork Refurb Disassembly of front fork including all internal parts. Inspection of all parts for wear or damage. Inspect and check inner and outer tubes for straightness. Polish chrome tubes. Strip piston assemblies, clean and flatten pistons. Replace oil seals, inspect dust seals and bushes and replace if necessary. Rebuild with high quality fork oil. Shock Refurb Disassembly of shock absorber. Inspection of all parts for wear or damage. Polish piston rod. Strip piston assemblies, clean and flatten pistons. Replace oil seals, inspect dust seals and bushes and replace if necessary. Rebuild shock absorber with high quality oil. Charge with nitrogen. Fork Re-valve Same as front fork service but includes shim change on pistons to Brook Suspension’s specification. Shock Re-valve Same as shock service but includes shim changes to Brook Suspension’s specification.
