Description

Brownstock Festival has fast become one of the UK’s most popular small festivals. See some of music’s biggest DJs and bands up-close and in a festival atmosphere rammed with personality and personal touches. We were shortlisted for “Best Small Festival” by The UK Festival Awards in 2013 and 2014. Last year saw our 10th festival since we, the Brown family, started with 150 people in 2005. We now see over 6000 visitors. We are super proud of our varied line up and entertainments across 6 stages, which we think make sure Essex is firmly on the festival map. Beyond the main stage you can head to our huge Good Shed dance big top which has seen sets from some of the best DJs in the world. Meanwhile The Stumble Inn is strictly house music only. The rest of the festival is scattered with hand built areas showcasing upcoming bands and other entertainments. The Treehouse stage with giant birds nest seats is built in one of the old Oak Trees. The Saloon Bar with swing doors and saddle seats. The festival also has a cosy campsite bar with sofas, open mic and late night electro swing and circus shows. Festival goers can also get stuck into a festival burger made with Beef from the farm.
