Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the joint that connects your jaw bone to your head. Unfortunately,this frequently used joint is a source of pain for many people. Symptoms of TMD may include pain in the jaw,face,and neck. Clicking,locking,and popping are also common. Headaches are common among many people,but for many the problem becomes chronic or sometimes even disabling. There are several types of headaches Dr. Burdette and his staff can help treat. These include headaches related to orofacial disorders and stress. Orofacial Pain includes pain conditions associated with the face,head,neck and intraoral structures. The diagnosis range includes headaches,musculoskeletal pains,neuropathic pains, and psychophysiologic pains. Snoring,sleep apnea and other sleep disorders can be major hindrances to you and your partner's sleep. Fortunately,there are effective treaments available for sleep disorders such as snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Burdette has advanced training and knowledge in the treatment of these conditions using specialized intraoral appliances.
